Fund Raising Events
The goal for developing Veritas Academy is to graft us into the Texarkana community. Each and every person, family and business should know what Veritas is and why it is important to Texarkana society. In attempting to accomplish this goal, each of Veritas's fundraising events will be in downtown Texarkana and will hope to include several, if not most, of the "homegrown" Texarkana businesses as sponsors. Supporting Veritas Academy will not only support a great cause, but by supporting Veritas, Texarkana is better. Look below to see how.

VeritasHelps is a continuing "serve-a-thon" formerly known as TruthWorks. This year we will be beautifying downtown and Kidtopia in the morning hours and helping an area charity, First Choice Pregnancy Center, in the afternoon. Donations are made for the service hours each student works. Please, donate generously.

A new event this year, the Veritas Classic, will be held in downtown Texarkana, USA. Participants will run through a challenging course and see the beauty of Texarkana's historic buildings filled with tradition. The Fun Run is perfect for all ages and families are encouraged to participate. Family friendly entertainment will be available and prizes will be given to winners in each age group.

A great success last year, this event will not only be entertaining, but a thank you to our generous supporters. The Regional Arts Center will be the venue and will provide the perfect atmosphere for our formal event. Spectacular items will be presented for attendees to bid on. There will also be a live auction and a lovely dinner. Items are currently being donated. If you'd like to donate an item to this event, please contact Susannah Linnett.
Our Fund Drive lasts from September to June. During the Fund Drive, Veritas asks friends and families of the school to consider a cash donation to the school, to help cover the shortfall that occurs between tuition and the actual cost of educating each student. A portion of the Annual Fund Drive will go towards financial aid for many students. Your donation is tax-deductible.
